My class is so excited to embark on our journey exploring the lives of Muslim American Heroes with Sr Rukayat! I am gaining knowledge along with my students as we uncover the unknown stories of these Muslim Heroes! This is the second time Sr Rukayat is enriching our lives and the learning experience of the children at Medina Montessori. Sr. Rukayat blessed us with an “Author Visit” a few years ago. The children loved their personalized copies of her interactive workbook on the life of “Ahmadu Bamba, The Sage of Senegal.” And enjoyed hearing her impressionistic stories of his life.
